By using IndexWolf you agree to the terms below.
1. The service
IndexWolf provides free web-based tools that help users generate text files (such as llms.txt, robots.txt, and JSON-LD structured data) intended for use on their own websites. All tools run inside your browser. No accounts are required.
2. Use at your own risk
The output of every tool on this site is generated mechanically from the input you provide. We do not verify that the output is correct, complete, or suitable for any particular website, business, or jurisdiction. You are responsible for reviewing every file the tools produce before you deploy it.
If a generated file causes any problem on your website — broken pages, search engine penalties, blocked traffic, or anything else — that is outside the scope of what IndexWolf can be held responsible for.
3. No warranties
The service is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties including, without limitation, the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We make no warranty that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that defects will be corrected.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall IndexWolf, its operators, contributors, or partners be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, business, or goodwill — arising out of or relating to your use of the service, even if advised of the possibility of such damage.
Where law does not permit complete exclusion, total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the past twelve months, which, because the service is free, is zero.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use IndexWolf to:
- Generate files used in any unlawful activity.
- Misrepresent your identity, organization, or content (e.g., generate structured data that falsely claims authority, authorship, or product reviews).
- Generate content that violates the rights of third parties (including intellectual property and privacy rights).
- Attempt to overwhelm, attack, reverse-engineer for malicious purposes, or otherwise misuse the site's infrastructure.
6. Intellectual property
The IndexWolf website, its design, text, code, and branding are owned by IndexWolf. The text files you generate using the tools are your property — you may use them on any website without attribution and without paying anything. We claim no ownership of what the tools produce for you.
7. Third-party links and services
Some pages link to external resources (Google Rich Results Test, llmstxt.org, schema.org, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site. Following any external link is at your discretion.
8. Privacy
Our practices regarding any data you may interact with on this site are described in the Privacy Policy. In summary: nothing you type into the tools ever leaves your browser.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms occasionally to reflect changes to the service or to applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of IndexWolf after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
10. Termination
We may discontinue the service, or restrict access to specific features, at any time and without notice. Because there are no user accounts, there is nothing for either party to terminate beyond simply closing the browser tab.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, unless local law requires otherwise.
